Coonskin Park

The Park was created over 50 years ago by a dedicated group of Kanawha County residents. It has grown into one of the most beautiful parks in the region. Located 10minutes from downtown Charleston, West Virginia, the park includes over a thousand acres of woodland nature. Enjoy several activities including hiking and biking trails, fishing pond, picnic shelters of all sizes, modern playground areas, an Olympic size pool, tennis courts, pickleball courts, soccer golf, horseshoe pits, skating park, 3,000 seat soccer stadium, disc golf, amphitheater, and a wedding/event garden. Meeting and reception room rentals are also available for your next event. We currently opened our par 3 Short Course @ Coonskin Memorial Day weekend. During the holiday season, drive through our evening winter light display.
