Coonskin Park Foundation, Inc. purpose is to promote, enhance, and contribute to the recreational, athletic, educational, and physical welfare of the citizens within the service area of Coonskin Park, Kanawha County, West Virginia.   Coonskin Park Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit corporation with a 501 (c)(3) Tax-Exempt Entity.

Frances P. Jordon Golf Learning Center was built by a local Kanawha County businessman and philanthropist Andrew Jordon.  The driving range officially open on April 9, 2011.  The 28 acre golf facility has 60x100 natural Bermuda Tee Box, six target greens and state of the art Fiberbuilt Synthetic Turf for inclement weather and winter usage.  Future plans for the golf learning center is covering for the synthetic hitting area and a short game area complete with putting green, bunker and chipping areas.   The facility is the largest public range in the state of WV and is one of the most used facilities in the Kanawha County Park Facilities.
 
The golf learning center is serviced by an automated range dispenser that accepts multiple forms of payment (cash and credit cards).  Reloadable range cards are also available by contacting our main office for assistance at 304-341-8000.

RANGE RULES
  • 6' Social Distancing must be maintained at all times to keep range open
  • Please limit hand contact with golf balls as much as possible
  • ALL BASKETS MUST BE RETURNED TO SANITATION AREA BY EACH INDIVIDUAL
  • Range balls will be sterilized before entering dispenser
