Enjoy the Coal River Water Trail with two public DNR boat launch sites with a portage trail between them. One of the boat launch sites is above and one below the falls. The portage trail allows boaters to go around the Upper Falls. There is ample parking, huge fields for boating events, and the Coal River Center for kayak rentals.
